About

Pat has been teaching Country Western dances for over 30 years. She has, taken numerous workshops and classes throughout her 35 plus years of country western dancing.  Pat and her husband, Eric joined and supported several private and social dancing clubs, in Northern California, including but not limited to L.A.S.T. Dancers, Lovin' Country, Country Swingers, River City Dancers, Classy Country Dancers, Denim and Diamonds, Yellow Rose. She has been trained, coached, influenced and mentored by many instructors throughout her career. Pat was hesitant about teaching her first class at a club dance, but, with the encouragement of her friends and instructors, she found she had a knack for it. She and her husband taught the Drifter, a partner dance, which became their signature dance for many years.

Pat began her professional career as a Country Western instructor, when she was hired by Black Angus Corporation to head up Line Dancing in all of their Central and Northern California restaurants. She was in charge of hiring and/or training the instructors and helping them with recommended dances.

Pat has taught classes at all levels, ages, disabilities, (including the deaf) and ability throughout her career. She has found that her interest, love and talent have been at the beginner level of dancers, which she finds the most rewarding. Her unique style of comprehensive and easy to follow instructions, her patience and humor makes her classes very popular. She teaches both Partner and Line Dances, encourages dance floor etiquette and keeps it Fun, Informative and Energetic.

Pat and Eric owned a successful and still talked about, Country Western Bar for 12 years. They formed the Silverado Demo Team that danced at Convalescent Homes, Fairs, Parades, Special occasions and Fund Raisers. Although Pat and Eric are no longer actively involved, the team is still performing and just celebrated their 21st year.

Throughout the years, Pat has seen new dancers become Award Winners, Teachers, Mentors, Choreographers and more ... she says “it has been awesome to have met so many talented people, whether it was providing a dance floor at our bar or meeting them in a club or in a class"

Pat is on staff at Dodasa Ranch and has been busy as the 'Guest Instructor" in a few local establishments, she taught at the fundraiser for Congressman John Garamendi, Choreographed and taught dances for Bride and her Bridesmaids entrance, has had private one-on-one lessons, taught at school graduation party, Lodi Street Fair, marina's, churches, clubs, corporation parties, fund raisers, weddings and other special occasions. Pat is friendly, easy to talk to, experienced, knowledgable and very helpful, it's no wonder she is Lovingly called 'Mom" by the young and older crowd.
